What is EURAC?

EURAC stands for European Academy. The European Academy of Bozen/Bolzano (EURAC) lies in the heart of the Dolomites. Created in 1992 as an independent research center, EURAC is home to researchers from all over Europe who work together on a wide range of interdisciplinary projects. Experts in law and natural sciences, linguists and geneticists collaborate with public and private agencies towards the resolution of some central issues of our day. Together they contribute to create a future-oriented Europe.

Where is EURAC?

EURAC is situated in the region of South Tyrol in the North of Italy bordering with the countries of Switzerland and Austria.

What is EURAC convention center?

Inside the building where more than 200 researchers are working every day there is the convention center. Maximum capacity 750 participants. Member of ICCA, ECM, MPI and GMIC. 

GMIC Guest Presenter: Francesca Corradi

Francesca was born in a small city in South Tyrol, in the North of Italy, She speaks fluently German, Italian, English, French and Spanish. After language high school, study abroad for one year and attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. There she discovered her love for the meeting industry and did her first internship in an event agency there. Came back and graduated in Economics and Management Studies – Major Tourism Management @ the Free University of Bozen Bolzano . During College did another internship in an event agency in Barcelona, Spain and since 2006 works as a project leader at the EURAC convention center. Is a CMP and MPI Member.
